Terror Suspects from US captured in Surgodha, investigations continue

These all five men are US Nationals caught in Surgodha, are suspected to indulge in terror activities in Pakistan. They arrived in Pakistan few days back and are being linked to possible terror attempt by them. Some maps of locations around South Waziristan were also secured from them. Police had arrested them after getting an intelligence report about them, a joint investigation team has been formed which will investigate about their meetings with people inside Pakistan and will come up with final report about them. Pakistan and US governments are already in contact with each other about this matter and US President promised an investigation about how and why they left US for Pakistan few days back.

Thirty thousand more troops for Afghanistan being considered by US

Seems like some brain storming is going on the US strategy by US president Obama and the possibilities being considered also include sending 30000 more troops to the Afghanistan. Earlier it was recommended by the Commander of US and Nato Forces in Afghanistan Gen Stanley that no more than 40000 troops should be sent to Afghanistan at most. Reminding that already 67000 US troops there in Afghanistan and also the additional 40000 allies also working together in the region. India test fires Prithvi-II ground to ground Missile

India test fired Prithvi-II ground to ground missile on Monday. According to officials this was a successful test of the weapon. This missile is capable of carrying one tonne of Nuclear war head. The ground to ground range of this missile can vary from 150 to 350 killo-meters. This missile was last tested on 15th April this year. Reminding that Pakistan have already tested the missiles with much more capability, like 2000 to 3000 km of ground to ground range, successfully and they are properly handed over to the security forces of Pakistan. US feels threat from Pakistan tribal region more than Afghanistan

US asked Pakistan Army for better co-operation in cleaning the so called safe heavens for Al-Quaida in the tribal region in Pakistan. A meeting of war council was held in the white house, focus was the Pakistan. It was revealed by the officials after the meeting that the war council will have its new role in Pakistan.
