PEPCO unable to recover Rs 63 billion dues from last year

Pakistan Electric Power Company (PEPCO) was unable to the recover Rs 62.9 billion Rs last year against amounts which were billed to its consumers. This amount added to the circular dept and will have an impact on the electricity consumers who actually pay their dues regularly. Such unpaid dept contribute to the devalue an organization and such thing happened in financial year 2010-2o11. PEPCO was able to make some old recoveries but this Rs 63 billion of un-recovered amount is finally going to impact the household consumers of electricity, who are already mostly paying their bills regularly. Dengue fever, which spreads from one human to other through mosquito bite, is spreading in Pakistan more rapidly than the fire in the bushes. Official figures already reported 6147 patients and out of which 5715 are told from the city of Lahore in Pakistan. A figure even bigger than the official figures was even not reported. Helpless flood victims of Pakistan still hopping for government to release even the funds collected last year

In Pakistan in the monsoon season 2011 have already claimed the 250 victims after the countrywide floods hit the different areas due to heavy rains. Its going on from quite some time but first government didn’t responded to the floods in timely manner and now they have all of sudden called for the $365 million USD International assistance. PPP Government fails to cope with Karachi violence

It is evident that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Government does not have and official strategy to cope with Karachi situation. As for months the tensions between political parties in Karachi have led them to use power against each other, this is causing the deaths of hundreds of innocent civilians each month.
