Latest Petrol and Diesel Prices
Update (April 11, 2026): With effect from April 11, 2026, Govt of Pakistan have announced the reduction in prices of both petrol and diesel in Pakistan. Prime minister Shahbaz Sharif himself came on national television and revealed the news of reduction in prices of Diesel (HSD) and the Petrol. Diesel have been reduced by around Rs. 135 and Petrol price have been reduced by around Rs. 12, the full details of old and new prices as well as the difference can be seen in following table.

Shahbaz Sharif also told in his address to the nation, any targeted subsidies, which were announced (described below) will still apply.
Subsidies for Bikes (Two Wheelers)
Also according to govt of Pakistan, the petrol price for bikes (all two wheelers) will be Rs. 100 lower than the standard price for next three months. However, they will be able to get only 20 Liters of fuel per month on the subsidized price and beyond that they will have to pay full price.
Update (April 05, 2026): Some further clarity came on how the 20 liters of subsidized fuel will be given to two wheelers. This facility will be available on 12000 petrol pumps nationwide. Two nozzles dispensing this subsidized fuel. Those pumps will be given 2 phones each (24000 total). So when a two wheelers will arrive for petrol, their info (bike registration number) will be put in a app in given phone, then a code will be generated which will be sent on phone number of biker, they will now provide that to get the fuel equal to demanded quantity. System will ensure every biker just gets 20 liters of fuel in a given month. This system will run for only three months as per current plan. We will keep you updated on any revisions in this plan.
Subsidies for Trucks, Buses and Farmers
Also govt have announced some subsidies for truckers, busses, intercity goods transport and farmers. Details of these subsidies are as follows.
- Small formers will get Rs. 1500 per acre one time support on diesel in the harvest season.
- Trucks Carrying above 80% food items will get per month support of Rs. 70,000
- Large transport vehicles will get support of Rs. 80,000 per month
- Intercity public transport vehicles will get support of Rs. 100,000 per month
- Intercity public and goods transport vehicles dependent on diesel will also get Rs. 100 subsidy on diesel fuel.
