Spring Holidays in Islamabad announced for 2023

On the commencement of the new academic session 2023 – 24 a notification has been issued by the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) about the spring break. This notification is issued on March 29, 2023. According to this notification Spring Break in all schools and colleges shall be observed in the last week of Ramadan i-e from April 17, 2023 to April 20, 2023, due to priority tasks pertaining to the paper marking of Centralized Annual Examination for class 5th and 8th Admission / Registration process and pre-board exams of SSC and HSSC. No more extension in winter vacations, says Murad Raas

The winter vacations of 2022 started from 24th of Dec 2022 and were supposed to end with year end. Students were required report back on Jan 02, 2023. However, these vacations were extended after keeping in view the smog situation in Punjab, specially in Lahore and nearby areas and cities. The entension was until Jan 6, 2022 and students have report back on Jan 09, 2023. NUST admissions open for spring 2023, entry test dates and details

National University of Science & Technology (NUST) undergraduate admissions are open for spring 2023. NUST is opening these admissions in series, in Series One they had already opened admissions in december 2022. However now NUST have opened admissions for Series Two, for which the online registrations dates are from Jan 01, 2023 to Feb 10, 2023. The entry test dates for series two for Islamabad will be from Feb 10 2023 onwards and for Karachi & Quetta they will be from Mar 2023. Winter vacations extended in Punjab

Initially Punjab government had notified the winter vacations for just eight days from from Dec 24, 2022 to Dec 31, 2022 and students had to report back at schools and institutions on Jan 2, 2023. However, according to latest notification from Punjab government, the winter vacations have been extended. The winter vacations in Punjab have been extended until Jan 6, 2023, however Jan 7 & Jan 8 are the days of weekend. So the students, teachers and staff of schools, colleges and educational institutions have to report back on Jan 9, 2023. This gives one more week to students to enjoy the winter vacations.
