The duration of the academic year in Pakistani schools is from August to May in the certain private schools and colleges. However, there is much of difference in starting and ending dates of Government and public sector schools. In government schools and many other private schools and colleges, the new session starts from April 1 and goes on to next March. Where the results of students is usually announced on the 31st March. Federal Board announced the 2023 matric exams date sheet for 9th and 10th

Annual secondary school (SSC) exams are going to be held by the Federal Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education. The government has decided to complete the examination process before summer vacations. So the date sheet for the annual exams of Secondary School Certificate (SSC part I and II) has been announced by the FBISE. Spring Holidays for KPK announced for the year 2023

As the summer season is starting and spring is here, in some parts of the country students have already enjoyed the spring break.However, in the other parts, spring holidays are coming before Eid holidays. An official notification is issued by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. According to the notification the spring Vacations are announced in all educational institutions including Govt. schools in KPK. Spring Holidays in Islamabad announced for 2023

On the commencement of the new academic session 2023 – 24 a notification has been issued by the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) about the spring break. This notification is issued on March 29, 2023. According to this notification Spring Break in all schools and colleges shall be observed in the last week of Ramadan i-e from April 17, 2023 to April 20, 2023, due to priority tasks pertaining to the paper marking of Centralized Annual Examination for class 5th and 8th Admission / Registration process and pre-board exams of SSC and HSSC. No more extension in winter vacations, says Murad Raas

The winter vacations of 2022 started from 24th of Dec 2022 and were supposed to end with year end. Students were required report back on Jan 02, 2023. However, these vacations were extended after keeping in view the smog situation in Punjab, specially in Lahore and nearby areas and cities. The entension was until Jan 6, 2022 and students have report back on Jan 09, 2023.
