T20 World Cup Final: Pakistan sets target of 138 for England to win

Pakistan have set the total of 138 for England to win the match. Pakistan lost the wicket of Muhammad Rizwan early who got bold, with, after inside edge ball gone on to nick the off stump. He was able to score 15 runs on 14 ball. Than Haris Sohail followed him back to pavilion after scoring just 8 runs on 12 balls.

Babar Azam was able to play some good shots which included two fours and lots of shots on which he got some quick runs. However, Babar was also not able to take fifty and got out after scoring 32 runs on 28 balls. Soon after Babar Azam, the incoming batter Iftikhar Ahmed lost his wicket on a duck after playing six bowls.

The next partnership which lasted bit longer and was good, was the one between Shan Masood and Shadab Khan. It broke when Shan Masood got out after scoring 38 runs on 28 balls. But very soon after that Shadad Khan also followed Shan Masood to the pavilion after scoring 20 runs on 14 balls.

So suddenly two new batters Muhammad Nawaz and Muhammad Wasim were on pitch, which was a huge advantage for England. And indeed this worked in favour of England when Muhammad Nawaz got out after scoring just 5 runs on 7 balls. Soon Muhammad Wasim followed him back after scoring 4 runs on 8 balls. Final two batters, Shaheen Shah Afridi Scored 5 on 3 and Haris Rauf scored 1 on 1, while both of them remained not out.

From England bowling side best bowler was Sam Curran who gave just 12 runs in his 4 overs and took 3 wickets. Adil Rashid and Chris Jordan took 2 wickets each after giving 22 and 27 runs. Adil Rashid also bowled a maiden over. Ben stokes gave 32 runs and took 1 wicket in his 4 overs. Liam Livingstone was most expensive as he gave 16 runs in just over without taking any wicket. Also Chris Woakes took no wicket in his 3 overs and gave 26 runs.

England earlier had won the toss and decided to bowl first. Turns out the decision gone in their favour as they did well with the bowl, lets see if they can display similar performance with the bat. For Pakistan it will be hard but not impossible as they have good bowling lineup but sure they are in bit of a trouble.
