Village of 100 houses fully Destroyed by Taliban Militants

In reaction to the on going operation against militants in South Waziristan Taliban militants destroyed the whole village. Village was having about 100 houses in it, all are destroyed to the ground. Additionally Taliban were involved in target killings and kidnappings in same village to hold some cards when they will be fighting with the Pakistan Security forces. people were already leaving the village for the safer places due to the Taliban’ behavior towards them. Twin cities indeed sleep late Saturdays and early Sundays

It is really fun when you get out late Saturdays and specially early Sundays. Because you will see that the highways of twin cities Rawalpindi and Islamabad which are normally full of traffic, are almost clear in timings. And by late Saturdays it means something near midnight and afterward. Day Light Saving saved about estimated 48750 megawatts of Power

Day Light Saving (DLS) time which was took in place on April 2009 by government actually saved about 250 megawatts of power daily. This rough estimate was provided by the ministry of water and power. Officials also told that one megawatt of power cost about 1 million dollar. So this way this day light saving strategy  saved about estimated 48750 million dollars this year. Clocks across the country back to normal time

Government of Pakistan had introduced the Day Light Saving (DLS) time back in April 15, 09 for this year to overcome the prevailing power shortage. Now after six and half months after the DLS time was introduced the clocks all over the country are now back to normal time. As in winter sun rise timings are much different so in compared to sun rise the students and the people at many job had now to get up even before the sunrise, so as time moved back to normal it will be big relief.
