General Information

April 1 and April 4 2024 are declared as public holidays in Sindh

For this week Sindh province have announced two holidays. First of them is April 1, 2024. For Muslims it will be off due to a an occasion called Youm-e-Ali. All the schools, colleges and educational institutions will remain closed for this reason. For Christian community, April 1 will also be off due to the Easter, a religious festival or event of Christians. Easter marks the resurrection of Jesus three days after his death by crucifixion according to christian beliefs. Sindh province will also have a public holiday on April 4, 2024. In Pakistan the students of schools, colleges and higher educational institutions enjoy a long list of holidays in a year. Along with national and public holidays, the holiday calender of students in Pakistan inlcude more sets of holidays. Iqbal day holiday announced in Pakistan for 9th of Nov 2023

In a latest development government of Pakistan have decided to give holiday on 9th of November 2023. Holidays being given for the Iqbal day. Iqbal day was an old holiday which used to be given for a long time but it was discontinued later on. After laps of several years government of Pakistan had restored this holiday in 2022.
