Musharraf to launch All Pakistan Muslim league on October 1st – Event details

Former Pakistan Army chief and President Pervez Musharraf is to officially launch the All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) on the 1st October, in this regard a number of events will be held in different cities. To be exact these events would be held in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad. Kids’ world’s longest running universally popular show sesame street is back with season 41

Sesame street first premiered on 10 November 1969 on 200 TV stations simultaneously, this American based show was great source of entertainment and preschool education for kids world wide. Even here in Pakistan lots of us watched this show in our childhood on the only available terrestrial TV network PTV back in our childhoods. This world wide recognized show have until now broadcast 40 seasons, the reason for success was only the idea of providing education through cartoon characters which were very attractive to children. Higher education now in trouble in Pakistan

When it comes to the cost cutting, there are certain things you can’t compromise on. Now in Pakistan the current ruling party is cutting costs on higher education. Only 15.8 billion allocated for education the requirement was to have 19 billion in addition to current allocation. This is not it, the real insult to injury comes in with the fact that for now just 1.4 billion have been allocated. This risks the futures of 7000 PHD students who are studying in side country and 5000 those PHD students who are foreign scholarships.
