Google releases its Pakistan Independence Day 2014 Doodle featuring Pakistan Monument

Every year on 14th of August proud Pakistani Nation celebrates its independence day in memory of a day passed 66 years ago when we got Independence from British, who were occupying Indian subcontinent and more importantly an Independent separate state for Muslims of Indian subcontinent called Pakistan. This year, like past couple of years, the would search giant Google have showed their care towards People of Pakistan through their brand new Pakistan Independence Day Doodle (A customized logo with certain theme) featuring Pakistan Monument. Ramadan moon not sighted in Pakistan, across the country Ramadan starts on same day

According to the central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee headed by Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman the moon was not sighted across the country and first Ramadan will be on Thursday. Even Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) will also observe Ramadan with rest of country. KPK normally do start fasting with Saudi-arabia one day before the rest of country. But this time Imran Khan, the chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), the ruling party in KPK have made special effort to convince the religious leaders of KPK to observe the Ramadan along with rest of country. Call for action in the memory of Pakistan Resolution – Pakistan Day, 23 March, 2012

On 23 March, 1940 the Muslim minority of Indo-Pak  passed a resolution. The Muslims of subcontinent were having the hard time in getting the respect and rights they deserved from the ruling British and the Hindus of subcontinent who were in majority. Public holiday is announed for 11 Rabi Al Awal, 4 Feb 2012 in Pakistan

After the four provinces, now Federal government (PM Gillani) also announced the public holiday on 11 Rabi Al Awal, which is 4th of Feb 2012. The holiday is to celebrate the Eid Milad Al Nabi, to worship Allah and appreciate all the blessings. So the whole country will now be on holiday on 11th and 12th Rabi Al Awal, Saturday the 4th and the Sunday the 5th of feb 2011.
