Every year in warm provinces and areas of Pakistan, students and teachers enjoy two and half to three months of summer holidays. These usually start from June 1 and go until mid or sometime right to the end of August, depending on the weather situation.
As the weather goes above 40 degrees, so it only makes sense to give the students and teachers the space and ability to rest at home in extreme weather conditions. As the weather becomes moderate, they have to report back.
Summer Holidays in Punjab in 2025
According to the information coming out from the provincial school education department of Pakistan, it have been decided that the summer holidays in Punjab will start and end on usual dates, unless otherwise there is extreme weather experienced.
Summer holidays will start on June 1, 2025 and will go through to the 15th of August 2025. But according to the Khalid Nazir Wattoo, the secretary of school education Punjab, if weather intensifies earlier, the schedule of holidays may be reviewed and the summer holidays in Punjab may start earlier than 1st of June.
