Opposition thinks constitution now in response to Qadri’s long march initiative

opposition thinking constitutionA private meeting of opposition parties is being held in leadership of PML-N Chairman and former prime minister Nawaz Sharif where all so called well wishers of country now decided that whatever Qadri is up to, is unconstitutional. Big names like Molana Fazal-ur-Rehman are also into this with Nawaz and Shehbaz Sharif along with several other so called political leaders.

I am not Qadri fan but these opposition leaders are same people who have been talking about the corruptions of government from years but have not done anything yet. A man (Qadri) suddenly stands and leads people to capital wishing a positive change, now why are these so against him right now. Why they suddenly now remember the constitution of country which in fact have less to do with long march. Freedom of speech and speaking of rights is non-constitutional, I guess that is what they are saying right now.

Not only this, Nawaz sharif gone forward and given his own 10 demands to government, so I am this is ridicules that when Qadri gives demands its deemed as unconstitutional and Nawaz’s demands are constitutional.

I understand the issue now, whole issue is, after watching the success (in numbers) of this long march now these opposition leaders are now thinking why they didn’t did this, why they didn’t lead this long march to capital city. They are regretting why they were not in streamline, why Qadri getting so much support. So, seems like they are thinking if they would have done this, this would have been a big publicity stunt for them but things worked out for someone else here.

Also Imran Khan and Pervez Musharraf, both of them have somehow endorsed the long march. Obviously, both of them are not very dear to Nawaz in historic and futuristic perspective, so under PML-N’s leadership whole opposition is now against the voice of people who gathered in Islamabad on call of Tahir-Al-Qadri.

Pervez Musharraf endorsed Tahir-al-Qadri’s long march and called it a success

musharraf-calls-longmarch-a-successGen. (Retd) Pervez Musharraf former Army Chief and former president of Pakistan, called the Qadri’s long march a success. Main reason behind this analysis may be the strength/number of people participating in the long march. Also, the basic idea behind the long march is also a fair one, current ruling party indeed proved to be the most corrupt in the history and that also proved by many supreme court orders during the ruling period of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).

Qadri basically demands the current government to not continue all the mess they are making and go for early elections. Many others like me personally would not be fan of Qadri but this time he is somewhat correct on what he is asking for. Everyone else remained silent while people were looking for one person who can lead them against current government and suddenly Qadri came onto the scene.

Now several others are endorsing the idea, Musharraf already called the long march a success and Imran Khan gone one step further by putting forward their own demands to government. If government does not respond positively then they may join or come with their own version of long march to the capital from far southern city of Pakistan.

FIR have been registered against Qadri, what is the reason?

qadri speech to longmarch islamabadThe First Information Report (FIR) was registered against Tahir Al-Qadri, the chief of Tehreek-e-Minhaj Al-Quran. He have have recently organized a long march from Lahore city of Punjan to the Federal Capital, Islamabad. Participants of march mostly remained peaceful except they removed the containers which were placed to block their access to capital. March crowed stayed at D-Sqare Islamabad from three days, and intend to stay there till their demands are fulfilled. The FIR against Qadri was registered in the Islamabad’s Kohsar police station.

According to Qadri, the long march is an initiative against all the corruption and lawlessness, for which the current ruling party so called “Paksitan Peoples Party” (PPP) is responsible. Qadri stays in Islamabad with tens of thousands of people till government listens to his demands like ‘early elections’. However current government have just two months left in power but still Qadri stays at point that the current government is not worthy of being in power for next two months as they will be doing only bad to the country considering their previous record.

It is no secret that the ruling party members are corrupt and its proved many times, like recent decision of supreme court against the current Prime Minister where he was held responsible for corruption in Rental Power Plants (RPP), a budget was allotted and issued to then but evenly never were surfaced. An order of taking the prime ministered was also issued but government have not done anything in that regard yet. It should be took into consideration that president also belongs to ruling party, is the chairman of party, so its real easy for administration to betray court orders and continue with all the corruption and mess they have been making.

The RPP corruption case conclusion which confidently came on second day of long march somehow have put government in panic, so this FIR seems the direct response to that panic and fear ruling people have in their minds.

Personally I may not be a fan of Qadri but one thing for sure, that long march and peacefully protesting for peoples rights is not crime in this or any other country of world. Until you keep things peaceful it all comes under the freedom of speech. As till yet peace was ensured by Qadri and participants of long march, so I see this FIR just coming out from government’s panic after the court order, as they may be co-relating it with long march.
