Eid Mubarak to Muslims in Pakistan and World Over – Happy Eid al-Adha 2011

Eid al-Adha is one of those beautiful festival which Muslims around the world celebrate. Its Also called the ‘Greater Eid’ or ‘Eid of Sacrifice’ due to the very fact that Muslims slaughter the animals like Cows, Goats, Camels and few other on Eid day and divide the meat free between the deserving people.
This Eid celebration and sacrifice of animals is performed to remember the willingness of Abraham (Ibrahim) to sacrifice his son (Ismaial) as act of obedience of Allah (G0d), God though had swapped it with an animal before knife could do its act.
This Eid and sacrifice is beautiful in a way that Muslims first slaughter an animal and then give away the meet to people who normally can’t afford the meat. It doesn’t matter that deserving one is Muslim or not. It is about getting the less privileged involved in pleasures of life with the more privileged people.
People either sacrifice a full small animal like a goat or seven people collectively sacrifice a bigger animal like cow or camel etc. Then every one divides his/her meat to be sacrificed in three equal portions, one is for his/her own one, one is divided among close relatives and final one is divided between the deserving people. However, one can go forward to make the deserving people’s portion bigger to take most of the essence of this sacrifice.
After all this explanation of essence of Eid al-Adha i would like to say Happy Eid (Eid Mubarik) to Muslims in Pakistan and all over the world. Remember the deserving people around you, make an effort to divide the meat among those really deserving people and make sure very less portion of your meat goes into your freezers.

More than 200,000 people already gathered around Minar-e-Pakistan to attend Imran Khan’s rally

Imran Khan had called a rally for 30th of October at Minar-e-Pakistan and now when that time came people more than expectations of anybody gathered around the Minar-e-Pakistan. 80% of people are the youth of the country, people who want to take country out of chaos.
People from all over Pakistan have welcomed the request of Imran khan and gathered in quantity which is uncountable at all but they are definitely more than 200,000. Even more people are joining the rally every moment. According to electronic media lots of people even not been able to reach and still to join the rally.
With this huge response the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf’s (PTI) and people of Pakistan’s journey towards the change is already started. A revolution is ahead where everyone is hoping that irony will go away. While the current parties in government have been failed to run the country, they have done nothing for the betterment of people of Pakistan or resolving the problems like lack of education facilities, lack of health felicitates, Power load shedding, Gas load shedding, lack of justice and many many more. Moreover country have seen the biggest downturn of economy in current government period of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).
Now when the Imran Khan came in politics to bring revolution for people of Pakistan, people are welcoming him in a great manner.
Pakistan giving tough time to Sri Lanka in first test starting October 2011

In series of test matches against Sri Lanka, Pakistan cricket team is giving the tough time to Sri Lankan cricket team. Match started on October 2011 in a Neutral venue, Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Dubai. It is bowling or batting, Pakistan Cricket team is going strong. Sri Lanka batted first in match, following of details of match so far.
Sri Lanka first Innings
Sri Lanka were all out in their first Inning after just scoring 197 runs. The best scorers were “TM Dishan” with 85 runs, AD Methews with 52 Not Out and RAS Lakmal with 58 runs. No one else passed the 50 runs mark, so team ended up doing just 197 runs.
From Pakistan side the new Bowler Junaid khan did well with the bowl by taking 5 wickets in his 14.1 overs by giving just 38 runs. Umer Gul took 2, Saeed Ajmal took 2 and Muhammad Hafeez ended up taking one wicket.
Pakistan first Innings
Pakistan did too well with the bat in their first Innings, overall they scored 511 runs and had to declare so that they can clean sweep the Sri Lankans to head for the victory. For this 511 most of credit goes to Taufeeq Umar who scored 236 runs, Muhammad Hafeez scored 75 and Azhar Ali ended up adding 70 runs to the total.
For Sri Lankan side HMRKB Herath ended up taking 3 and UWMBCA welegedara took 2 wickets, so they were only able to send 5 Pakistani batsmen to the pavilion till Pakistan declared their Innings.
Sri Lanka Second Innings
NT Paranavitana was back to pavilion as soon as match started, he face just one ball and scored none. Umer Gul took his wicket. Sri Lanka was at 47 runs when it was called a day. So this was Sri Lanka’s score at the end of 3rd of the game.
Pakistan’s Chances
Sri Lanka still trails by 267 runs with 9 wickets in hand on end of third day. Pakistan have 2 full days to send Sri Lanka back to pavilion and win the match. They also have one full Innings left, so they have better chances to win.
Sri Lanka’s Chances
Sri Lanka can try to draw the match only if they can stay on wicket. I don’t see Sri Lankan’s winning this match from this point but still can easily draw if stay at wicket and just stop the bowls sensibly.

Imran khan rally and public address at Minar-e-Pakistan 30th October 2011

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) which is lead by Imran Khan have announced a rally at Minar-e-Pakistan location in Lahore on 30th October 2011 at 2:00pm. Rally will witness the public address of Imran Khan, the chairman of Imran Khan.
This rally will be very important and determine how many people will support the emerging Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf. However the leader Imran Khan is very much confident, according to him the rally would be a huge success and will prove the new political center is not any more in Raiwind (The residense of PML-N Leaders, Nawaz and Shahbaz Shreef).
Imran Khan and more and more people of Pakistan now believe that the political parties in power like Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) in Federal Government and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) have not done enough to cope with problems of people of Pakistan. Moreover, the Health, Education, Employment and public safety situation is only worsend in last few years since these other political parties were in power.
Same is the reason that more and more people are now turning to Imran Khan, the chairman of PTI. Many think that the future of Pakistan politics now revolves around the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf or around Imran Khan in other words. People believe that Imran Khan is the man with the vision and if given the chance in next elections, and if he gets elected, he will have the answers to all problems of Pakistanis.
The upcoming rally in Lahore Pakistan will serve similar purposes, it will firstly determine how many people from Lahore and adolescent areas are supporting Imran Khan’s political party, also may be considered as a statement against the chaos which is in country in political tenure of PPP and PML-N.
Imran Khan, as derived from his public speeches and media interactions, is very much confident that with huge participation of People in his Lahore rally, he will send a strong message to corrupt elements in power that change is now not far away.
Many believe that if a change have to come, the time is now, many people, specially masses of youth are supporting Imran Khan for next elections as he deserves a chance deliver which he claims that he can deliver and we believe he can deliver. People don’t have anything to lose but have got a big hope for change and betterment if they choose Imran Khan in next elections.

Pakistan railways go into total chaos and makes passengers as well as employees unhappy

Pakistan railways is recently facing the worst losses because of corrupt and incompetent elements in management. Railway stations are jam packed with passengers but all the trains are late. People have to wait some times as long as 8 to 18 hours before they can get to their train. Also there is no proper system to keep the passengers informed, as people with their families wait on railway stations, it turns into total chaos.
Railways management blames the losses and throws the responsibility off their shoulders. When the trains as well as railway stations are jam packed with passengers, trains are full over capacity, how on earth railway management can claim that they are going in losses.
Railway management also claims that unavailability of new locomotives (Railway Engines) and the bad situations of old ones is also responsible for bad situation. Now here again comes in the fault of the railway management, why they don’t get their available locomotives repaired, where goes the money which is took on daily bases from the passengers.
Place a side the passengers, now the employees of railways are also unhappy over the non payment of salaries. Recently in Lahore over 1000 of railways employees were involved in protests over the non payment of salaries. This made the railways situation from bad to worse, with unhappy employees how they can hope to function correctly.
The minister for railways Ghulam Ahmed Bilour also do not have any satisfying answer to the railways situation. Nor he came with any proper plan to revive the railways. Government as well does not seem involved in any serious effort to make the railways situation.
President Zardari recently just instructed the government to release funds to railways but no response on that yet came, so it seem an empty statement. Also Zardari instructed the Railways to arrange 6 billion Rs loan to fix the railways locomotives so things can go better.
Does Zardari lead Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) government have loan solution for every issue. This issue clearly have not been taken seriously on administration level by PPP lead government on other hand the people of Pakistan are suffering.
A person who have to go from one city to another via train and can’t afford to travel by other modes of transportation have to suffer while taking ticket, mostly they are told that reservations are already done, there is not seat to be reserved and then tickets are provided after taking the bribes. Then when he comes to travel with the family, they have to wait on railway stations for trains which are late from hours to days. At last when train is there, the journey of 22 to 24 hours is completed in nothing less than 6 to 7 days.
Additionally on stations as well as in trains there are no proper facilities for passengers, quality food is not available no other facility is in order.
For countries like India who share same kind of tracks and locomotives from same era as Pakistan, the railways is big source of revenue. Also many other countries like England have railways as major transportation system and they are earning much from it. But in Pakistan on contrast due to corruption and incompetence of management and authorities the railways is going in total loss and seem like it will not be able to serve back as it did in past any time soon.
