Election Commission of Pakistan revealed issue of bogus votes continues in the new voter lists

As the finalization of new voter lists is underway and the due date for those lists completion is round the corner as they were suppose to be completed by the up coming 30th of September. But with just five days remaining, the election commission identified the issue with the newly prepared voter lists. According to Election commission they found the 37 million people on voters lists which could not be confirmed. These unconfirmed voters belong to areas all over the country. Dengue situation worsens in Pakistan, specially in Lahore, as it claims more lives

Dengue claims six more lives in Lahore last day, with this reported death toll increases to 70, also reportedly more than 8000 people are effected from the disease. Unreported cases are told to be twice as much as the reported figures. In just last three weeks 130,000 people in Lahore got them tested for dengue disease. Lahore High Court recently have set a standard unusual Rs. 90 price for dengue test all over the hospitals. All the hospitals and the laboratories in province will have to follow this standard price till 15th November for now, afterwards they may continue charging their usual prices for the test. Zardari to initiate several short term power generation projects in Sindh

Apparently very much into the third year of Pakistan Peoples Party in government, Mr. Zardari finally thought something about treating the power shortage situation in the country. So he have recently advised the authorities of Sindh to start getting bids for several energy projects in Sindh, which will serve the province’s power needs. These projects will start as part of Sindh’s electricity generation policy and will be completed with in 12 to 18 months.
