CNG load shedding becomes real pain, Potohar region CNG stations flooded with vehicles

When it comes to CNG stations, Potohar region includes the Islamabad, Rawalpindi, areas from Attock to Jehlum and some other adjustment areas. According to government’s lame CNG load management plan on Fridays and Saturdays the CNG stations remain close in this region. Due to this the CNG pumps were kept flooded with vehicles today and specially this evening. So in cold weather when the gas in homes was available with low pressure, ‘getting CNG for vehicles’ was also made very difficult. So technically along with two CNG load shedding days getting the gas for the vehicle on the day before and day after are also very much difficult and waiting in long queues is mandatory for that. Worst ever winter Power Load shedding in Pakistan

Winter is on its peak with good quantity of waters in our rivers and these are the months when the power consumption is minimum of whole year but still we are witnessing the load-shedding which is announced as 3 to 5 hours per day and on some random days this even goes beyond that. There are part of world where the uninterrupted power supply is assured for the whole year no matter what happens, i.e. no matter the weather conditions are good or bad, power will just be available. We here in Pakistan even if can’t match that kind of supply but should have tried to improve the things but seems like in this matter things are getting worse. I […]

No Quaid pic but PPP flags all over Islamabad on Quaid Day

On 25 December major portion of capital city Islamabad the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) flags were all over the city but didn’t saw even one picture of founder of nation considering 25th of December was birthday of our great leader/founder Muhammad Ali Jinnah. Flags are there to remember a former PPP politician Baynazir Bhutto who was killed 27th of Dec 2007. According the Capital Development Authority (CDA) rules any banners or holdings etc can’t be hanged out there more than three days in the city of Islamabad, but people in ruling party seems to break these rules by themselves as last year same flags seem out there on roads for moths till they torn up by weather and winds. Similarly […]

Ban was the result of posts by Zulqurnain Haider to his Facebook page like the post about his retirement and few other posts after he disappeared from a match in Dubai about a month ago gone to London afterwards claiming of threats which he said he received. No matter what in my opinion Pakistan Cricket board (PCB) in no capacity eligible to add such clauses to the contract with any player as this is open attack on players’ freedom of speech. Facebook and Twitter provide people means to communicate and specially for celebrities and Players they […]
