Roads and bridges network at faizabad Islamabad

Above is the satellite view of the bridges and roads in Faizabad area of Rawalpindi and Islamabad. It actually manages huge traffic in great manner. I think its the only one of its kind in Pakistan or at least in Rawalpindi Islamabad.

The point is that on more areas such plans must be thought of and executed. We all know many places which are always congested with loads of traffic and passing those places is a misery. So such plans may thought for those places as well. Traffic on roads will no keep increasing so thinking in advance is a better strategy.

Water flow in rivers and water storage down to minimal, who is responsible

Indus River PakistanWhen compared to the last year the water flows in the rivers this year are very much about more than 34% less. Also storage overall is about from 32% to 40% of total capacity. Indus River System Authority (ISRA) is planning a meeting to revise the water management plan for this year and this meeting will held on 1st Feb, 10.

The water flows in four major rivers declined from 10,000 to 37,000 cusecs, which is huge decline. Also the decline in the Mangla and Terbela dams is 34% less than the next year.

Country is now facing huge water shortage, this shortage is now most likely to effect the agricultural activity around the country.

The thing here to think is untill when we will be depending on Mangla and Terbela dams. Have government thought something about starting the new water storage projects. Now its very much necessary because India is now in implementation phase of many dam on same rivers which take water to Pakistan. So naturally in future we will have to make sure that none of water which come in go to the sea but its stored in many water reserves.

If situation stays the way it is and more water management projects are not thought of, it would definitely be more hostile food commodities and power shortage in the country.

There are lots of things which need to be planned from now to survive after 10 years of time, nearly no planning for water, gas or power is going on. Looking at the on going increase and expected increase in demand of these all, the revolutionary development project are now due. God bless this country with a capable leadership which manages every thing as required.

Check phone SIMs registered using a specific NIC in Pakistan

It has been quite a while when Pakistan Telecommunication Authority had first introduced this facility. Previous they were providing this service only SMS, then a semi functional Web Interface was there. But now they came up with a new web interface for this, which seem to be more efficient. So following are the possibilities to use this service.

Check Via SMS:

No matter what cell phone operator you are using inside Pakistan, just compose an SMS message with your National ID Card number as message text and send it to 668, in reply you will receive the number of SIMs registered using your NIC number for each network.

Check Via Web Interface:

Just visit 668 Online service Page, enter your National ID Card number eliminating the (-) character and on submit it will show all the phone SIMs registered using your NIC.

It is important that the phone connections you are using must by registered on your NIC and also important that any other SIM cards you are not using must not be registered on your NIC because if they are used for any kind of illegal activity, you will end up in trouble.  Make use of these services and the customer care of specific companies to block any SIM cards registered with your NIC illegally.

We come up with lots of updates and useful information, so to keep yourself updated subscribe to our daily email using the email subscription box right top of this page and also join our Facebook/twitter pages from the boxes on right side.
